Life lived loving God, loving people, and making disciples is a life as a citizen of The Kingdom of God. There’s one thing Jesus himself makes clear about the value of participation in this Kingdom: it is worth giving everything for. With our refined mission now laid out, we must be convinced of the value of picking up that mission as our own, knowing our unique part, and partnering for the sake of the Gospel of Jesus. The call is clear; the time is now. Will you give everything you have for the Kingdom of God?

Love God. Love People. The greatest commands that are essential to the abundant life. Yet, is this a love that we are to keep contained within our own hearts? Can we truly love God and people with excellence without ever inviting others into love for God and people? Jesus coupled these Greatest Commands with the Great Commission: "Go and make disciples of all nations…” This is our mission: to invite people into the sphere of God’s gracious, unending love through the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and showing them how to be formed into His image. We read in Mark 10:45 that, “Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” Since His purpose is not to be served, but to serve us by giving His life for us, what is our response? In short, giving our lives to Him. In this Christmas object lesson, we will take a close look on what giving our lives to Jesus looks like.
